Very good

I’m pregnant and I was looking for a safe drink to substitute teas and coffee, even I don’t drink it every day I found the flavor very good for me because I don’t like strong coffee flavor, so I mix it with oatmeal and taste good 👍

Not Coffee, But Not Far Off

I have had to reconsider drinking coffee after a prolonged bout of IBS (over a year), na dhave tried almost every "coffee substitute" under the sun. I finally decided to give Bambu a try after reading several positive reviews. Ok, so here are the pros and cons in my opinion: no coffee smell when you open the container is a definite con since that part of the ritual of making coffee is one of my favourites; very dark and rich looking when boiling water is added; the smell is almost non-descript, but surprisingly the taste makes up for it. I take cream and monkfruit sweetner in my morning brew so once those things are added, the gap between this and a regular cup o' joe closes immensely. The "mouth-feel" is almost spot-on to what coffee's is. The flavour is definitely coffee-esque and I think I may need to play with the portions to get it exactly right in the taste deptmart, but already knowing what I am dealing with has really lowered my anxiety about not having coffee. I suppose you may notice a bigger difference in taste if you drink your coffee black, but for me this is close enough to stop my search for a substitute.

An ideal alternative for anyone (like me ????) looking for a healthier beverage choice, instead of coffee. Bambu has a smooth, pleasant taste. Mixes well with hot water. I add a bit of dairy cream to mine but also would be good plain or with non dairy coffee additions like almond milk, etc.... I particularly appreciate the certified organic ingredient list.???? Available in jars or in handy, take along single-serve pouches too. Glad I gave this product a try. Geraldine Helen Hartman, author of the Groovy Green Kitchen series.????????????
