The flavor is mild, without the peppery taste of some coffee substitutes. I've used it for over 30 years because actual coffee doesn't agree with me. My husband started using it when he had to avoid coffee and black tea for the caffeine and acidity. We're pleased to have Bambu as part of our hot beverage repertoire, and have succesfully recommended it to others with similar issues.

I had a hard time finding it for a while and glad I was able to do so now. It has helped me with my coffee ediction. Which I was advised not to follow anymore . Bambu replacement is close enough to coffee and easy to make . Way friendlier to the stomach and nervesystem.I like the fact that o can sweeten it with honey and it still has a great taste. Also using replacement milk such as Almond or Soy milk is not damaging the Taste rather makes it nice and smooth.
